How to Handle Reading the News (ANCA Gallery Canberra 1996) was about ‘re-shaping’ our world.. Daily newspapers were cut, rolled and tied to form images of play, fantasy and caring. This was a participatory show and visitors to the Gallery were invited to join in folding and cutting the strident news of the day into webs, cut-outs, dolls, blankets, shelters. Made almost entirely of newspapers, this show went off to recycling at its close.

Materials: newspapers, string, pins, chairs, various objects to build a tower.
