Miasma of Fear was an installation in an adjunct event in the Mark Foys building in Sydney during Perspecta 1984. Botticelli’s anatomically impossible figure of Venus in The Birth of Venus was re-played using my own body, only enabled by cut and paste and collage distortion on a rough cardboard base. The bomb in the background was the subconscious of the post-WWII world. The work rotated on a turntable under a spotlight.

Materials: photography and Xeroxes, cardboard, carousel, wood.
