Pythons and Escalators (part of Politique, Canberra National Sculpture Forum, postered in various legal sites around Civic Canberra 1995) was a series of three posters from collaged images which highlighted the lack of public planning access around a city for women with prams and young children. Embroidered textual references to Medusa, the Amazons and the Furies symbolised intransigence in the face of official obstruction.
