Visceral (ANCA Gallery Canberra 2011) was a two-person show with Ali Aedy. In my works, bas relief wall pieces were created from different materials, cut out, with the deleted areas always re-used in the work as part of the show’s ideology; that the alien and misunderstood should be treated with respect. Compassion for all living things, whether ‘feral’ or ‘weed’ links to tolerance for all forms of diversity, including other humans.
